§ 2-1107. Reemployment after resignation.

Upon the recommendation of a department head and the approval of the director of human resources, an appointing authority may reemploy a former regular city employee to a position in his former or a lower class within two years of the date of resignation or expiration of leave of absence. No such former employee shall be reemployed directly as provided in this section if a reemployment list exists for the class in which he is to be employed.
