§ 70-271. Consumption of alcoholic beverages by operator of moving motor vehicle.

(a)

No person shall consume any alcoholic beverage while operating a moving motor vehicle upon any public thoroughfare for vehicles, including state roads, county roads and public streets, avenues, boulevards, parkways or alleys in this city.

(b)

Every person who is convicted under the provisions of this section shall be punished by a fine of not less than $100.00.
