§ 70-102. Reimbursement of arrest costs to law enforcement agency on conviction of certain violations.

Upon a plea of guilty or a finding of guilty for violating the provisions of section 70-302, 70-304 or 70-305, the court may, pursuant to RSMo 577.048 and in addition to imposition of any penalties provided by law, order the convicted person to reimburse the local law enforcement agency which made the arrest the sum of $51.00 for the costs associated with such arrest. The court may order the costs reduced if it determines that the costs are excessive. Such fees shall be collected by the court administrator and shall be paid into the city treasury as provided by law.
