§ 50-293. Exemptions from article.

  • Nothing in this article shall apply to:

    (1)

    Acts or practices required or authorized by state or federal law, rule or regulation, or judicial or administrative decision.

    (2)

    Any television or radio broadcasting station or any publisher or printer of a newspaper, magazine or other form of printed advertising, who broadcasts, publishes or prints such advertisement, except insofar as such station or publisher or printer is guilty of deception in the sale, or offering for sale of its own services. This article shall not apply to advertising agencies, provided they are acting on information provided by their clients, nor shall it apply to any person listed as a seller or distributor in such advertisements who has no power to control the statements or representations made in the advertisement.
