Ord. No. 060056, § 1, adopted January 19, 2006, amended the Code by repealing former
§§ 50-2—50-5 in their entirety. All four sections pertained to hawking and peddling.
Specifically, former § 50-2 pertained to permitted sales, and derived from the Code
of Gen. Ords. 1967, § 26.19; Ord. No. 55080, adopted May 6, 1983; and Ord. No. 59395,
adopted July 17, 1986. Former § 50-3 pertained to unauthorized use of registered trademark
without consent of registrant, and derived from the Code of Gen. Ords. 1967, § 26.19.1;
and Ord. No. 62058, adopted February 4, 1988. Former § 50-4 pertained to sales on
certain streets, and derived from the Code of Gen. Ords. 1967, § 26.20; Ord. No. 36028,
adopted November 27, 1968; Ord. No. 36502, adopted April 3, 1969; Ord. No. 55080,
adopted May 6, 1983; and Ord. No. 59395, 7-17-86. Former § 50-5 pertained to licenses;
permit for sale of food or beverages; operating regulations; and derived from the
Code of Gen. Ords. 1967, § 26.20.1; Ord. No. 59395, adopted July 17, 1986; and Ord.
No. 971654, adopted April 16, 1998.
