§ 34-226. Birth record after legitimation.

Latest version.

In cases of legitimation, the director of health, upon receipt of satisfactory proof thereof, shall prepare a new certificate of birth in the new name of the legitimated child. The original certificate shall be voided and may be shown, or a copy of it issued, only upon order of court.
