It shall be the duty of the fumigator to make or cause to be made a careful examination of all parts of such building or enclosed space in order to determine that no human being has remained therein and that all necessary precautions have been taken to safeguard the health and lives of all persons occupying the buildings adjoining that in which the fumigation is to be performed. In cases where the walls of any adjoining building are located within ten feet of the building, or part thereof, to be fumigated, the fumigator shall notify in writing the person in charge of such adjoining building, stating the time when such fumigation shall commence and the probable duration thereof. When any portion of a building is to be fumigated, the entire building shall be vacated by its human occupants during its period of fumigation. No person shall enter any such building during the process of fumigation, nor shall any person interfere with the fumigant operator or watchman engaged thereon.
