§ 2-1455. Satisfaction of judgment.

Whenever any judgment of the municipal court shall be satisfied by payment of the fine and costs, before the issuing of any execution or commitment, or whenever any execution shall be returned satisfied by the chief of police, or upon the certificate of the person in charge of the place where the defendant is confined stating that such fine and costs have been paid, in money or in work by the defendant or both, the clerk shall enter satisfaction upon his record.
