§ 2-1450. Contempt.
The municipal court shall have power to punish all persons guilty of contempt of court, by a fine of not more than $500.00, or by imprisonment at the municipal correctional institution for a time not to exceed six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment, and may commit such person to the municipal correctional institution until such fine is paid and the judgment of the court satisfied; provided, however, that every citation of contempt shall specifically set forth the facts constituting the contempt.
