§ 2-1410. Absence of judge from division.

If any judge of the municipal court shall be absent from his division on any day on which such division, according to law or by previous adjournment thereof, shall be in session, then the judge of another division of the court may open and adjourn such division to any other time, or from time to time, or he may preside in such division and transact any and all of the business pending therein upon written direction of the presiding judge.
