§ 2-741. City plan commission.
(a)
The city plan commission, consisting of eight members and, in addition, the city manager, the president of the board of parks and recreation commissioners, the director of public works, the director of the water department and the director of the department of neighborhood and community services, as advisory members, all as provided by the Charter, shall have the power to perform the duties provided by the Charter and ordinances of the city and the laws of the state.
(b)
The city plan commission is hereby granted power to make such rules and regulations as it may deem necessary or expedient, not inconsistent with the Charter or ordinances of the city, for procedure concerning meetings; committees; order of business; applications for zoning amendments; vacation of streets, alleys and plats; dedication of land for public purposes; urban redevelopment projects; hearings; establishment of a system of records pertaining thereto; and for such other matters as may properly come before the city plan commission.
