§ 2-264. Division of laboratories.

The work of the division of laboratories shall include the operation of pathological, chemical and bacteriological laboratories, and such division shall perform the necessary laboratory work for all divisions of the health department, and for such other city departments and offices as may be necessary. The chief officer in charge of this division shall be responsible for all duties imposed upon the city chemist by the ordinances of the city.
