§ 2-72. Filing for office.

Latest version.

A person seeking office as mayor or a member of the city council may file with the city clerk or an election authority of the city, a nomination petition as required by City Charter section 602, on or after the seventeenth Tuesday before the primary election. Consistent with City Charter section 602 filing will end on the twelfth Tuesday before the primary election.
