§ 24-65. Issuance; form.

The police department shall report to the commissioner of revenue the results of its examination of each applicant for a license provided for by this article, and, if it appears that the applicant is qualified under the provisions of this chapter, a license shall be issued to him by the commissioner. Each license shall bear the signature of the licensee and space shall be provided thereon upon which a record may be made of any conviction of the licensee of any violations of this chapter or of the traffic code of the city.
