§ 24-64. Persons ineligible for license.

  • No driving instructor's license shall in any case be issued to an applicant who is:

    (1)

    Under the age of 21 years;

    (2)

    Unable to read and write the English language;

    (3)

    Addicted to the use of intoxicating liquors or drugs;

    (4)

    Not a registered operator or chauffeur under the laws of the state; or

    (5)

    Suffering from such infirmity of body or mind as to render him unable safely to operate a motor vehicle on the public streets.
