§ 22-1. Treasurer to give notice of special assessments upon receipt of verdict.
The city treasurer, as soon as the copy of any verdict in any condemnation proceeding is received by him, shall send by mail to each of the owners of property described therein, if the post office address of such owners is known to him, a written or printed notice that the assessments made by the jury in accordance with article VI of the Charter are in his hands for collection and stating the amount of the assessment, the period during which it can be paid without interest, the terms of any deferred payment allowed and where it may be paid.
