§ 18-236. Construction standards; inspection.

(a)

The structural adequacy of an underground space shall be certified by a professional engineer registered by the state to practice as such prior to making application for a building permit.

(b)

Each building within an underground space shall be constructed in accordance with the applicable requirements set forth in this chapter,

(c)

All buildings for which certificates of occupancies have been issued shall be subject to annual inspections as set forth in section 18-21(g)(2).
