§ 308. Political activity by judges prohibited.

The following political activity is prohibited:
(a)

Seeking office. No judge of the Kansas City Municipal Division shall run for elective office other than the judicial office which the judge holds. This shall not preclude a judge of the Kansas City Municipal Division from seeking appointment to another judicial post of the United States or State of Missouri.

(b)

Political participation. No judge of the Kansas City Municipal Division shall directly or indirectly make any political contribution to or hold any office in a political party or organization, or take part in any political campaign.
