§ 8-19. Penalties.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to cause or permit any air pollution by emission of any air contaminant source located in Kansas City, Missouri in violation of this article.

(b)

Each day and/or occurrence that a violation shall continue after notice from the director or his/her designated representative, shall constitute a separate offense.

(c)

Any person convicted of a violation of section 8-20(a) may be punished by a fine of not less than $10.00, nor more than $500.00, or by imprisonment for not more than 90 days or by both such fine and imprisonment.

(d)

This shall not serve to limit any other remedies available to the city in law or equity.
