The designation as a UAZ and the benefits flowing therefrom shall expire at such time
specified in the ordinance designating the UAZ, which period shall not exceed 25 years.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the city council may, by ordinance, dissolve the UAZ,
in whole or in part, at any point in time if it determines that the UAZ, or any portion
thereof, is not in compliance with the requirements of the UAZ Act or the provisions
of this article, or is otherwise no longer in the city's best interests. The approval
of a UAZ shall not create any legally cognizable interest in the continuation of a
UAZ or any portion thereof.
