§ 70-862. Out of service.

  • (a)

    No person shall drive or move or cause or knowingly permit to be driven or moved on any street or highway any vehicle or combination of vehicles that have been placed out of service and an out of service order has been issued.

    (b)

    No person shall operate any commercial vehicle when they have been placed out of service and an out of service order has been issued.

    (c)

    Any person convicted of violating subsection b of this section shall be punished by a fine of not less than $500.00 or by imprisonment in the place designated by law for not less than four days and not more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
