§ 70-846. Horns and other warning devices.
(a)
No person shall operate a motor vehicle in this city unless the motor vehicle is equipped with a horn, directed forward, or whistle in good working order and capable of emitting sound audible under normal conditions from a distance of not less than 200 feet, but no horn shall emit an unreasonably loud or harsh sound. No person shall, unless reasonably necessary to ensure safe operation, give audible warning with his horn.
(b)
No motor vehicle shall be equipped with, nor shall any person use upon a vehicle, any siren, whistle or bell, except as otherwise permitted in this chapter.
