§ 70-693. Left turns by persons riding bicycle or moped.
(a)
A person riding a bicycle or a moped intending to turn left shall follow a course described in section 70-451(2) or in subsection (b) of this section.
(b)
A person riding a bicycle or a moped intending to turn left shall approach the turn as close as practicable to the right curb or edge of the roadway. After proceeding across the intersecting roadway, the turn shall be made as close as practicable to the curb or edge of the roadway on the far side of the intersection. After turning, the bicyclist or moped driver shall comply with any official traffic control device or police officer regulating traffic on the roadway along which he intends to proceed.
(c)
Notwithstanding the provisions of subsections (a) and (b) of this section, the state highways and transportation commission or the director, in their respective jurisdictions, may cause official traffic control devices to be placed and thereby require and direct that a specific course be traveled by turning bicycles or mopeds. When such devices are so placed, no person shall turn a bicycle or a moped other than as directed and required by such devices.
