§ 70-132. Operation of motor vehicle without proper license.
It shall be unlawful for any person, except those expressly exempted by section 70-136, to:
(1)
Operate any commercial motor vehicle upon any street or highway of this city unless such person has procured the applicable commercial driver's license, with applicable endorsements valid for the type of vehicle being operated.
(2)
Operate any motor vehicle upon any street or highway of this city unless such person has procured a valid license from the state. The provisions of this section shall not deprive the city of the right to license, tax and regulate taxicab drivers.
(3)
Operate a motorcycle or motor-driven cycle upon any street or highway of this city unless such person has procured a class M license or license with motorcycle endorsement.
(4)
Authorize or knowingly permit a motorcycle or motor-driven cycle owned by him or under his control to be operated upon any street or highway of this city by any person who has not procured a class M license or license with motorcycle endorsement.
(5)
Operate a motor vehicle with an instruction permit or chauffeur's or operator's license issued to another person.
(6)
Operate a motor vehicle in any manner in violation of the restrictions imposed in a restricted license.
