In addition to any other permits authorized under the code of ordinances, within an
entertainment district, the following types of permits are authorized to be issued
under an entertainment district license for the following limited purposes by the
director of public works:
Permit
Limited purpose
Banner permit
Allowing the temporary placement of banners on city streetlight poles and other such
facilities in the public right of way
Street closure permit
Allowing the closing of public streets, sidewalks or other public right of way necessary,
in the opinion of the issuing authority, for construction, maintenance, or for the
protection of public health or safety or other special condition.
