§ 64-72. Grades of alleys.

  • The grade of every alley leading from one street to another, not otherwise provided for by ordinance, shall be a true plane from the grade of the street at one end of the alley to the grade of the first street at the other end of the alley, taking the grade of each street to be that of the point where the centerline of the alley intersects the street. The surface at and near the intersection of alleys and streets shall be made convenient for passage and for surface drainage, according to the direction of the director of public works.
