§ 64-71. Grading contracts to require grading of entire width of street.

Whenever an ordinance shall provide for grading a street or avenue, or part of either, the ordinance shall, unless otherwise provided, be deemed to require the grading of the whole width thereof, including sidewalk spaces, and the contract for doing such work shall be deemed to extend to the whole width of such street or avenue, or part of either, and the cost of the work shall be computed, apportioned, charged and paid for accordingly.
