§ 64-6. Removal of material composing street, sidewalk or other public ground.

  • No person shall, with his own hand, or by another under his direction, dig up, remove or loosen, take or carry away any stone, brick, lumber, planks, blocks, earth, sand or gravel or any other material composing any street, sidewalk, curbing, crossing or public ground, whether the material is free or loosened or not, without obtaining a permit from the director of public works.
