§ 62-83. Allowing soil or litter to fall or be carried onto public property from other land.

  • (a)

    No owner, occupant or managing agent of any land shall cause or permit the soil or any rubbish or litter from such land to fall, blow, wash or be tracked by vehicles, either directly or across other property, onto any sidewalk, street, alley, boulevard, parkway, park or other public property.

    (b)

    Any owner, occupant or managing agent of any land who has caused or permitted soil or any rubbish or litter from such land to fall, blow, wash or be tracked by vehicles, either directly or across other property, onto any sidewalk, street, alley, boulevard, parkway, park or other public property shall cause such soil, rubbish or litter to be removed within 24 hours. Each consecutive 24-hour period on which any violation of this section continues without such cleanup shall constitute a separate violation.
