§ 56-500. Identification of registered agent or owner to tenant.

Every owner or lessee required to file a registration statement by this article shall also provide the tenant of each rooming unit or dwelling unit in the buildings or structures described therein with a written statement indicating the name and city address of the current registered agent. This written statement shall be provided within ten days of the date an initial or amended registration statement is required to be filed. Thereafter, this written statement is to be provided to each new tenant of a rooming or dwelling unit prior to, or upon, the first day of that tenant's tenancy. In lieu of the name and city address of the registered agent, the name and city address of either the owner or the current managing agent may be stated.
