§ 56-365. Transfer of certificate of compliance.

A certificate of compliance is valid only while the owner that is applying for the certificate owns the property. A certificate of compliance may be transferred if:
(1)

The sale occurs within 90 days of the issuance of the certificate of compliance to the seller; and

(2)

The buyer notifies the department of the transfer in ownership within 30 days of the sale. Such transferred certificate will expire upon the date stated on the certificate.
