§ 50-193. Leaving explosive device or other lethal device, or imitation thereof, in city; false report.

  • (a)

    No person shall leave at any place in the city any explosive or incendiary bomb or lethal device, or any object which purports to be, or is an imitation of, or resembles any such explosive or incendiary bomb, or other lethal device calculated to, or of a character reasonably expected to, create public apprehension of danger, or to cause public authorities to expend time or money in investigating the character of such device for the purpose of protecting the public or any person from anticipated danger.

    (b)

    No person, knowing the same to be false, shall circulate or transmit to another or others, with intent that it is acted upon, any statement or rumor, written, printed or by word of mouth, concerning the location of a bomb or other explosive. This subsection shall not apply to authorized statements made in connection with any authorized civil defense test or drill.
