No person shall, by an intentional, overt act, attempt to unlawfully inflict a bodily
injury or attempt to cause an unlawful, offensive contact upon the person of another.
Any person found guilty of violating this section shall be punished by imprisonment
not to exceed 180 days or by a fine of not less than $250.00 nor more than $1,000.00,
or by both such imprisonment and fine.
