§ 50-118. Obtaining transportation on common carrier by violation of tariff.

  • (a)

    It is hereby declared to be an ordinance violation for any person to violate the terms of a tariff or tariff supplement of a common carrier, duly on file with the public service commission of the state and in effect, concerning the payment of fare or the use of a permit card, identification card, ticket, token or transfer, so as thereby to obtain transportation upon a vehicle of such common carrier without payment of the fare required by such terms, or through use of such permit card, identification card, ticket, token or transfer contrary to such terms.

    (b)

    Any person who shall violate this section shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of not less than $10.00 and not more than $100.00 for each such offense.
