§ 42-64. Transfer.

Latest version.
  • Each license issued under the provisions of this chapter is personal to the holder thereof and not transferable to any other person. In the case of a partnership, if a partner should leave the business for any reason, the remaining partners may retain the license without making application for a new one. In the case of a corporation, no new application for a license need be made unless there has been a 50 percent change or more in the stock ownership thereof. However, in any event, new shareholders acquiring ten percent or more of such stock shall be processed by the bureau of liquor control in the same manner required of other such corporate shareholders.
