§ 42-6. Sale, transfer or change of location of business.

  • No sale, transfer or change of location of any establishment licensed under the provisions of this chapter shall be made without first applying for such sale, transfer or change of location to the supervisor of liquor control. In the event of sale, such application shall be in conformance with the requirements regarding licensure contained in this chapter as well as of the establishment itself. Such sale shall also be in conformance with all applicable state statutes. In the event of transfer or change of location of such establishment, the establishment shall be subject to all the requirements of this chapter respecting original premises. In the event of death or incapacity of any person licensed under this chapter or any co-licensee, any heir or devisee of a deceased licensee, or a person appointed by the estate of such person, or any relative of any incapacitated licensee, or any person appointed by him or his legal guardian, so long as such person meets the moral character requirements of this chapter, may continue the operation of the business through the remainder of the license year.
