§ 40-119. Magazine subscription agency and agent.

  • (a)

    Every person, copartnership, association or corporation who for compensation shall engage in the business of soliciting magazine subscriptions, and who shall receive commissions, salaries or other compensation therefrom, is deemed to be a magazine subscription agency.

    (b)

    Magazine subscription agency, consisting of not more than one person, per year ..... $100.00

    (c)

    Each salesperson, employee, office associate, additional partner, member of the firm, or officer of the company so engaged as a magazine subscription agency, who shall engage in the production part of the business, is deemed to be a magazine subscription agent.

    (d)

    Magazine subscription agent, per year ..... $2.50

    (e)

    Any other provisions of this chapter notwithstanding, no license fee required in this section shall be prorated or issued for any sum less than the annual fee stated in this section.
