§ 40-29. Surrender of license when license nullified under state law.

  • Whenever the commissioner of revenue shall have been advised by officials of the state that any city occupation license shall have been rendered null and void in accordance with any laws of the state, he shall notify the holder of such voided license to surrender the license or to furnish proof that such license has not been so invalidated, all within ten days; provided, further, that whenever a city occupation license shall have been nullified in accordance with any laws of the state such license may be reissued for the remainder of its original term upon payment of a fee of $10.00, if the licensing of such occupation shall not be prohibited by any laws of the state.
