§ 39-12. Repeal of growth area fees in south service area.

Latest version.
  • The policy of collecting off-site street improvement fees in four "high growth" areas south of the Missouri River, known as and referred to as the I-435 and 103rd Street Corridor, I-435/I-470/US 71 Area, the Plaza Environs Study Area, and the Martin City Area, is hereby discontinued. Any fees collected under these resolutions in the Plaza Environs Study Area shall be transferred to the trust fund account for Benefit District H, and any fees collected under those resolutions in the other three areas shall be transferred to the trust fund account for Benefit District G established under this chapter. The arterial street impact fees established by this chapter are not intended to be an update of these "high growth area" fees, since the arterial street impact fees are broader in scope and are intended to address the impact of new development on the entire arterial system in the south service area, not just within the smaller geographic areas covered by these fees.
