§ 34-516. Limitations on authority of director.

(a)

Notwithstanding any provision of this article, the director shall not impose requirements, conditions or limitations that are inconsistent with or more stringent than those imposed as a result of any action taken by any state or federal agency to clean up or abate the same site and substance.

(b)

The authorities granted by this article shall not apply to the release or threatened release of any substances in conformance with written permits or approvals issued by the United States, the state or the city.
