§ 34-5. Notice to clean premises.

When the director of health shall deem it necessary to secure the general health, he shall notify the owners, agents, occupants or persons in charge of any house, building or other tenement, or of any lot, to clean or have cleaned such premises, and any public alley in the rear of or adjoining such premises to the center of such alley. Any person failing to comply with such requirements for a period of three days after such notice has been given shall be deemed guilty of a violation of this chapter.
