§ 34-20. Violation of chapter; penalty.

  • (a)

    It shall be a violation for any person to fail, neglect or refuse to comply with any provision, regulation or requirement of this chapter.

    (b)

    Whenever in any section of this chapter the doing of any act is required or is prohibited or is declared to be unlawful or an ordinance violation, and no specific fine or penalty is provided for a violation thereof, any person who shall be convicted of a violation of any such section of this chapter shall, for each offense, be fined not less than $1.00 and not more than $500.00, or be punished by imprisonment at the municipal correctional institution, or in such other place as provided by law, for a period of not less than one day and not more than six months, or be punished by both such fine and imprisonment.
