§ 32-6. Minimum pressure at customer's gas meter.
Every gas company manufacturing, distributing or selling gas in the city shall, by adjusting the pressure within its distribution mains, or by providing service regulators, or by means approved by the director, maintain a minimum pressure at the customer's meter of four inches water pressure. Should any such company fail to comply with the requirements of this section, or should the gas meter inspector find the service furnished the consumer insufficient to comply with the requirements of this article, he shall at once notify such company. Should such company refuse or fail properly to comply with the requirements of this section within 24 hours after such notice, such gas company shall be deemed to be guilty of an ordinance violation, and shall upon conviction thereof be liable to a fine of not less than $25.00 and not more than $100.00 for each and every such offense.
