§ 32-10. Testing of meters by gas company.
Every gas company distributing and selling natural gas in the city shall examine and test the accuracy of all new meters and all meters disconnected for repair or periodic testing before the meters shall be connected or reconnected for use in the city, and shall comply with all applicable rules and regulations relating thereto prescribed by the public service commission of the state. No meter shall be placed in service which shall run irregularly or which registers an amount more than two percent greater or less than the amount actually passing through it.
