§ 30-150. Sales on streets.

  • (a)

    Permit; authorized products. It shall be unlawful to sell at retail on the streets of the city any frozen dairy product without first obtaining a permit from the health officer. Street vendors of frozen dairy products shall pay to the health department annually for such permit an inspection fee of $5.00. Inspection permits must be carried on the person of the vendor, are not transferable, and do not take the place of a license under the general license ordinances. Only frozen dairy products factory-packaged in the final containers from plants operating under a permit from the health department shall be sold at retail on the streets of the city.

    (b)

    Protection from contamination. Vehicles shall be kept clean at all times and the products protected against contamination.
