§ 2-2004. Use of city property.

(a)

Prohibition. No official or employee shall request or permit the use of city-owned or city-leased vehicles, equipment, materials or property for personal convenience or profit.

(b)

Exceptions.

(1)

Availability to the public. This prohibition shall not apply when such services are available to the public generally, and the official or employee complies with all rules and requirements applicable to the public.

(2)

Provided by city to public official. This prohibition shall not apply if such services are provided as municipal policy for the use of such official or employee.
