§ 2-1727. Abatement of sidewalk special assessments.

Pursuant to the authority in section 818 of the City Charter, all special assessments for sidewalks, curbing, drive approach or guttering that were issued and unpaid as of April 4, 2017 are hereby abated, the right of the city to enforce payment thereof cancelled, and any liens of the city upon real estate associated with such special assessments are released, except: (i) where a judgment has been entered to foreclose the lien of such special assessment; or (ii) where a petition to foreclose the lien of such special assessment is or has been filed under RSMo ch. 140 or 141 prior to June 1, 2017.
