§ 2-1539. Special election when office remains vacant after regular and runoff election.

  • If no lawyer candidate for election to the commission shall be elected at any election or runoff election in circumstances where no runoff election or further runoff election is required by this division, as, for example, if the lawyer candidate receiving a majority of all the valid votes cast shall have died before the election is complete, there shall be a special election for the office and term in question.
