§ 2-1533. Marking of election ballots; delivery of ballots to director of records.

  • The ballots for election of elective members of the commission shall be mailed to or deposited with the director of records at city hall. Each ballot must be accompanied by a signature card signed by the voter; otherwise it shall not be counted. All ballots must be received by the director of records before 5:00 p.m., Central Standard Time, on the day of election; ballots received after that hour shall not be counted. Ballots shall be marked by the voter by placing an "X" or check mark in the box or square alongside the name of the lawyer candidate for whom he desires to vote.
