§ 2-1417. Additional qualifications of municipal judge.
In addition to the qualifications established by the City Charter, no municipal judge shall have been found guilty of a felony under the laws of the United States or of any state unless having been a qualified voter for five years next preceding appointment, or entered a plea of guilty or nolo contendere to any felony under the laws of the United States or of any state for which the court suspended the imposition of sentencing unless the required period of probation has passed and the record of the plea of guilty or nolo contendere has therefore been removed from the person's court record.
